Description

Sugar Hill is located approximately 36miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. State Route 20 is a main highway through the center of the city and State Route 23 runs along the southern edge of it. Sugar Hill is one of the desirable places to live in Gwinnett County. This vibrant city places high value on quality of life and city has various plan for city park and recreation. Sugar Hill Greenway, aka Sugar Loop Greenway, project was proposed along with Gold Mine Park and Sugar Hill City Park project. The Sugar Hill Greenway will be approximately 16.5 miles of paved(most of the Sugar Loop Greenway will be a concrete, multi-use path) trail for pedestrians, bicyclists, wheelchair users, joggers, and other non-motorized users.  Sugar Hill has 67 acres of land and Richland Creek running Gary Pirkle Park, 18 holes course Sugar Hill Golf Club, award-winning concert venue Bowl, and DAWB P. GOBER Community Plaza and Splash Park with water fountains.
