Housing in Norcross has high rates of occupancy though the percentage of single detached houses are only half of the homes. Home price, both of the detached houses and attached houses, in Norcross is more affordable than some of the cities in Gwinnett. However, housing costs are still a challenge for many residents. Newer homes like Parkside and Seven Norcross are high-end so looks like those new homes can not be an ideal solution for the residents but could be a draw for brining in new residents can afford the higher price points.

City of Norcross, a place to imagine, is located in western Gwinnett County. The location of the city is excellent in the area with easy access to I-85 and I-285. And also this city ‘s connectivity to major streets such as Buford Highway(US23/SR), Peachtree Industrial Boulevard(SR141), Beaver Ruin Road(SR378), Jimmy Carter Boulevard(SR140), and Holcomb Bridge Road is one of the reasons several headquarters of large companies, warehouses, and residents call this city home . This is the first city in Gwinnett County to be recognized on national register of historic places, and today it is a city with a diverse population. Norcross became a Platinum Green Communities in the area too. Some of the recent achievement for its quality of life are new STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) High School, Paul Duke STEM High School and Discovery Garden Park. Future Beaver Ruin Creek Greenway and Pinnacle Park will be great additions as well.
